Ancient God

This small bust (it is 60 mm high), was inspired by the famous tales of HP Lovecraft and, in particular, by the Cthulhu Mythos.
The sculpture does not want to have any claim to be adhering to the descriptions in the stories but, actually, is a personal interpretation that recalls elements from them; an alien creature that lives in the unfathomable depths of the ocean waiting to be awakened ... :O
I also painted a resin copy of this bust .


Questo piccolo busto (è alto 60 mm), l'ho realizzato ispirandomi ai celebri racconti di H.P. Lovecraft e, in particolare, ai miti di Cthulhu.
La scultura non vuole avere nessuna pretesa di essere aderente alle descrizioni nei racconti ma si tratta di un'interpretazione personale che ne richiama degli elementi; una creatura aliena che vive negli insondabili abissi oceanici e attende di risvegliarsi... :O
Di questo busto ho dipinto anche una copia in resina.
